After meeting Fifi&Geirge for the first time last summer, it was a must to come back again this year. 14 nights are not enough to stay to Villa Chara! Breathtaking views, full moon mirroring the sea, waves singing for your soul, seagulls dancing in the sky make us want to return year after year. Both ground floor apartament and the upper villa are very well equiped, and Fifi is present right when you need her. I believe words are insufficient to describe our experience at Villa Amouliani. We are two families with two children who are no older than ten, and we share the first and second floors of the villa. Each floor has its own terrace, and this is where you can truly feel the paradise beneath your feet. Each morning, I began my day with an incredibly breathtaking sunrise and concluded it with the gorgeous Mount Athos and all of its sparkling stars. The ability to sleep with the sound of the waves is the most peaceful experience I've ever had. When you combine all of this with the most friendly and welcoming hosts, there is no reason not to choose this spot. We will come back for sure!

We had one of our best vacations ever! Our hosts were welcoming and a pleasure to get to know. We stayed on the ground floor for 8 days and we had such a fantastic stay that we didn't want to leave.! What we wanted was a much needed rest, breathtaking sea views, comfortable accommodations and a beautiful beach at our feet. That was exactly what we got! We stayed on the groung floor apartment which has all the comforts of your own home and a lovely big balcony. The view from the balcony is of Mount Athos and is beyond words. Enjoying the sun rise from that balcony was magical! There is a beautiful beach just 2 min away which you can see from the balcony and was quiet even though it was August. We really enjoyed our stay and could not have asked for more. Thank you!!!

Villa Chara is an perfect place for group of friends. We spend great time there. The sandy beach is close to the house. There is a shops nearby. The host Fifi and Georgios provide information for all that we needed. Thank you very much! You were so kind and friendly. We plan to be back again.

Κάνω διακοπές στην Αμμουλιανή περίπου 25 χρόνια..... Είναι η πρώτη φορά που έφυγα γεμάτη γαλήνη ψυχική ηρεμία και θετική ενέγεια!!!!! Το σπίτι ήταν όμορφο σαν κουκλόσπιτο και μάλιστα σαν το σπίτι μας!!!!! Μας παρείχε τα πάντα άνεση καθαριότητα και υπέροχα ταξίδια στην ατελείωτη βεράντα του!!!! Το σημαντικότερο οι άνθρωποι οι ιδιοκτήτες τους οποίους δεν θα ξεχάσω ποτέ και θα έχουν πάντα ένα μέρος στην καρδιά μου!!!!! Εννοείται πως θα είμαι εκεί και του χρόνου και κάθε χρόνο!!!!! Ενα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ!!! Αυτή η διαμονή φέτος μου έδειξε την μεγάλη αξία των ανθρώπων σε ένα υπέροχο μέρος!!!!! 5 Αστέρια στο χώρο και αμέτρητα αστέρια όπως αυτά που βλέπαμε κάθε βράδυ απο τη βεράντα στους ανθρώπους που με την καλοσύνη και την αγάπη τους κάνανε την διαμονή μου ΜΟΝΑΔΙΚΗ!!!!! Villa Chara is an absolutely perfect place for those who cherish intimacy, quietness and the little things in life, such as having your private staircase to reach the sea, having a sunrise every morning in your bedroom, wind therapy and shade in the afternoon as well as a splendid conversation in the evening, around a glass of wine, with Giorgios and Fifi, the owners (or caretakers ;-)?...) of this paradise. Impresionante casa con unas vistas magníficas. La casa dispone de todo lo necesario y cuidado todo hasta el último detalle. Los anfitriones Geogios y Fifi encantadores, nos trajeron juguetes para los peques, nos recomendaros playas, restaurantes, etc. Son gente maravillosa que te hacen sentir cómodos y como en casa. Su casa es un paraíso. Más que recomendable el sitio, si pudiéramos repetiriamos todos los años. Cinco estrellas se quedan cortas .

Undoubtedly, this was one of the most memorable trip, and the Villa Chara and the hosts, Georgios and Fifi played a large role in the experience. In a nutshell, Positives: - Incredible view - Enough clean, functional bathrooms for the family - Great patio, where we had every meal - Kitchen with an amazing view - Perhaps the best location in the island, with restaurants and shops close by, and beach just down - Last, but not the least, friendly and informative hosts who so willingly help to meet any needs Negatives: - None. What a place, and what an admirable hosts who constantly renovate and clean the entire place.

The location is great with a magnificent view. It provides a truly unique experience. The hosts, Georgios and Fotini, thank you very much! You were so kind, friendly, always on hand and make us feel at home. Vila Chara is just on the edge of the town but easy to walk around and reach the city centre. There is direct access to the sea and we were able to go swimming anytime. There is also a sandy beach 2min walk from the house. We plan to be back again.

The place was wonderful in every aspect. The location was magical, rooms very comfortable, hosts were more than great. The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave. Highly recommended!

Where do I even begin?!?!?! Fotini and Goergos were the kindest and most friendly and accommodating hosts! Their home is so clean, well kept and filled with warmth! The views both from the kitchen window and the beautiful balcony that could fit a group of 8 around the table were simply breathtaking! We felt very well looked after and truly special! Fifi was always close to help us with any questions, advice and just a nice talk! The beach right next to us was the best night-swim and daily pass time place. Not crowded, clean and relaxing! We had such a great time that we have started thinking about our next visit! Thank you so much to our hosts for this great family holiday home, we are missing it every day! We stayed at Villa Chara for the third time this year. For the first time we stayed at the Ground Floor Apartment (instead of the Main Villa). The apartment is cosy and cleand and has a stunning patio over the sea. But German Giants mind your head, when entering the bathroom. Giorgios & Fotini: We will come back!

We stayed in the lovely villa Chara for 4 days. What a great time we had. We were a group of two families with children and had a perfect time from the beginning to the end. Nice host with plenty of info for the island. Felt like at home. The house had literally everything - from the basic things like coffee, salt, pepper, tea, to hairdryers on each floor. The paio is wow . The rooms were nice and cosy. The location is perfect. Thanks, we will return again!

We have stayed for three days in the first week of May in Villa Chara. We love Ammouliani, we have been here several times. This was the first, and certainly not the last time, in Villa Chara. We've returned in Villa Chara after 8 years. Everything is perfect! Perfect renovation. Perfect furniture and equipment. Perfect view and sea in front. Perfect conditions for a rest. Big thanks to the hosts of the house. Everything is so warm and with perfect organization. Beautiful view, golden beaches. Nice stay, close to shops, restaurants and beach. We spent 10 marvelous days in Villa Chara and Ammouliani.

We had a great time. The facilities at the villa were very good, it is located in an exelent location, 5 minutes walk to the center of the island. The beaches are amazing and the tavernas are very good. We had great time

We were a family of 4 in the ground floor apartment. The location is just smazing and you never tire of the amazing views at sunrise in the day or the moonlit sea at night. We often just popped down the stairs for a quick swim or snorkel. The islands beaches are just a short 5 min ride in car. The main resort with abundance of shops restaurants and supermarkets are a 5 min stroll. Stella the house keeper is so warm and caring even though she doesn't speak English. We were looked after and never felt uneasy or concerned with stella around. The apartment is cosy and homely with a better equipped kitchen than I have a home ! The two double bedrooms are comfortable and very quiet with the double glazed windows. Air con in one bedroom and the other is served by the lounge aircon. The place is very clean . Lots of extra towels hairdryer kitchen stuff like oil herbs etc. The best bit is the terrace allocated to the ground floor apartment a truly amazing outdoor space with tables chairs sunloungers etc . Ammouliani is unspoilt and safe it's green countryside unspoilt with only development around the periphery. To top it all Georgios and Fotini the owners are such delightful people. Just go see yourself!

We have just returned from a one week stay in Villa Chara. We must admit, we have been returners. In June last year we came to Ammouliani and the beautiful Villa Chara for the first time. Villa Chara is located just at the outscirts of Ammouliani viallge on a rock overviewing the sea, facing Oranoupoli on Chalkidiki. The port of Ammouliani as well as a lot of Taverns and shops can easily be rached in walking distance (max. 10 minutes). Ammouliani village is a nice and quiet Greek village with very kins and authentic people. Most of the Taverns serve crisp fresh food for fair prices. The Villa itself accomodates their guests on two floors. From the landside you enter your home on ground floor nvieau. On the ground floor there is a big dinning-/living-room with an newly equipped open kitchen with micro wave, coffee machine, diswasher, .... There is also a single bed room and a bath room with shower. Over a wooden staircase you reach the top floor, with three more double-bedrooms and two other bath rooms, both with shower. In one of them you also have a washing machine. Two of the bedrooms have their own balcony overseeing the sea. all bedrooms are equipped with wooden beds, in-build wardrobes and air condition. All three bathrooms are new and very stylish. The absolute highlight of Villa Chara definately is the big patio with a big table (big enough for 8 people) and lounge furniture. There is a wooden roof over the complete patio. Georgis and his family are the best hosts, you can imagine. They help you in any questions you may have and give you helpful tipps. Even in their welcome eMail they provide useful information and phone numbers. You don't feel like guests, but as good friends all te time. Georgis speaks perfectly English, but even when not speaking the same language the others from the Logothetis family make it possible to communicate, because they "speak with their heart". All of us are looking forward to coming back to paradise island Ammouliani and to Villa Chara! Thanks for being our hosts, Georgis and Family. You made our tripp a perfect holiday.

Although we had also some colder days (12 C ) at the end of March, we had 5 beautiful days in this house with his magnificent view over the sea to the Athos mountain. Close to the sea, large balcony, perfect equipped, nice view from all rooms, close to the village. Nice owners. We can recommend it.

We have just returned from a 4 day holiday at Villa Chara and we have already missed this hidden gem. Villa Chara is perfectly located in the beautiful Ammolioni island, very close to a bakery, a butcher shop and at least 2-3 mini supermarkets nearby. The balcony of the villa and the panoramic view of the sea is to die for... We loved the huge balcony so much that we preferred having our dinners at home rather than going out. You can chill out and relax on the terrace just listening to the seagulls and watching the bay or you can reach to 3-4 different beaches very close to the house and swim in crystal clear waters of the island. We had everything we needed ( maybe even more) the house is very well equipped and we felt like we were at home at all times. I am so glad that I have made two new friends in Greece now, Giorgos and his lovely wife...Their hospitality and friendship made our stay an unforgettable one. I hope to visit this hidden gem and to meet these warm hearted people again in future! I suggest this place to anyone seeking for a peaceful vacation...

We stayed at the ground floor apartment for 7 days. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The terrace is so specious that you don't even need to go to some restaurant with a sea view, if you can cook you can have a dinner AT THE SEA every night. The nearest beach is like 1 minute away. Exceptional view from the terrace! The host Fifi was very kind, with a good command of English. It was easy to understand with her. Very warm people. Staying in Ammouliani is very calm and relaxing and worth visiting again!

Die Villa Chara liegt traumhaft auf einer Klippe direkt am Meer mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den Heiligen Berg. Ammouliani ist im besten Sinne vom Massentourismus verschont geblieben, man sucht Touristennepp vergebens. Im Mai ist die Insel noch im Dornröschenschlaf, leere, weiße Strände, aufmerksamstes Personal in den Restaurants, was will man mehr! Unbedingt hinfahren!

We (group of four girls) stayed at the villa for one week at the very end of April. As the season has not started yet, the island was very quiet. We had wonderful time with perfect relaxation - breakfast at terrace over sea with mount Athos view, afternoon at the empty sandy beach two minutes walk from the villa, dinner at a nice local fish tavern in the port... perfect holidays! The villa itself is adorable, very well equipped and excellently located - in a walk distance from shops and restaurants, but very close to the seaside (and with the seagulls coming to the balconies every morning). Inside we had everything what we needed for our stay (and even much more!) and had an impression we were just at home (or in some relatives' or friends' house) - the interior design is very cosy and done with love and the hosts are extremely friendly and very helpful! Thank you once again for the hospitality!

Just returned from a wonderful 4 days at Villa Chara in Ammouliani Island. We are a family 4 couples and we reserved in advance the main villa and the ground floor unit. (we used 4 double rooms out of 5). The kitchen has everything you need, the big terrace has astonishing views (Mt Athos, sunrise...). The hosts Georgios and Fotini received us with so much warmth that at the end we felt like family. Beautiful sandy beaches around the island, bakery near by, tavernas and supermarkets...what else do you need for a perfect peaceful vacation???

Our week at Villa Chara is one we will never forget. From the warm greeting when we arrived to the tearful goodbyes on departure, we felt very welcome in this home. There are so many things we liked about this place. We stayed in the groundfloor apartment which has a well-equipped kitchen and very large terrace with a magnificent view of the bay and Mt Athos. We spent a lot of time on the terrace, using the grill to cook fish with fresh vegetables from George's garden. We enjoyed meals late into the evening with the music of gentle waves lapping on the shore. I woke up early most mornings just to sit on the terrace and watch the sun rise over the bay. Someone said about Villa Chara "It's worth what you pay just for the view. Everything else is free." I totally agree. After we left, I asked my teenage daughter what was her favorite thing about our vacation in Greece. She said, "It was getting to know the Logothesis family. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house and your lives with us!

In juni 2014 hebben we, 5 vriendinnen van rond de 58 jaar, 10 dagen verbleven in Villa Chara. Het was een erg goed verblijf, de locatie direct aan zee was uniek: het uitzicht op zee was geweldig. We konden altijd de berg Athos zien. Het weer was hemels. Het huis was leuk en voldoende comfortabel, maar vanwege het prachtige weer leefden we voornamelijk op de terrassen. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw waren erg vriendelijke, gastvrije en interessante mensen. We werden erg hartelijk ontvangen. En we kregen van hen goede adviezen over het eiland, welke stranden de moeite waard waren, welke boten we konden huren enz. Er zijn veel mooie stranden op het eiland en op de kleine eilanden rondom. Overal gratis strandstretchers en goede kantinas en restaurants in de buurt waar allerlei Griekse lekkernijen en drankjes werden geserveerd. Wij hadden een erg fijne tijd in de Villa Chara, mede dankzij George en Fotini ( de eigenaars). Zeker een reden om er in de toekomst nog eens terug te komen.

Das Paradies bewohnen 2 Engel: Fotini und Georgis! Wir waren 6 Personen, 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (7 und 9 Jahre alt) und haben unseren Sommerurlaub 2015 bei der Familie Georgis und Fotini verbracht. Die Beiden machten unseren Urlaub unvergesslich, ob es das frische Gemüse vom eigenen Garten, deren Hilfsbereitschaft oder einfach die Anekdoten aus ihrem Leben waren, es war herrlich. Das Haus ist groß mit einem großen Balkon, der Sonnenaufgang und -untergang sind unvergesslich, das Meer ist direkt am Fuße des Hauses oder 2 Minuten neben dem Haus befindet sich ein kleiner, aber feiner Strand und das Meer ist sehr sauber. Supermarkt, Kaffeehaus, Bäckerei, Hafen oder Tavernen sind direkt in der Nähe, also zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten. Ein perfektes Haus mit 2 sehr liebenswürdigen Menschen, ein Geheimtipp zum Urlauben ohne Massentourismus.

La casa è proprio come si vede nelle foto, direttamente sul mare, con terrazzi bellissimi da cui si gode di un panorama mozzafiato. Gli ambienti interni sono piccoli, ma molto funzionali. I proprietari sono adorabili e l'isola ha un fascino particolare in ottobre, quando tutto il turismo di massa se ne è andato e le meravigliose spiagge sono deserte. Un consiglio: qualche piccola miglioria nel salottino interno, di modo che la casa possa essere sfruttata anche in bassa stagione. C'è già un bel caminetto, quindi basta veramente pochissimo. Magari uno non pensa ad andare in ottobre su un'isola deserta ma, credetemi, è veramente magico. Grazie Fotini e Georgeos, torneremo sicuramente

We've stayed in Villa Chara in July, for our third year in a row. Once we discovered this little gem of a house, we didn't want to look for anything else. It just fits our needs perfectly: superb location, on a cliff overlooking the sea and with a view of the Athos peninsula, quiet surroundings and the house itself is charming. There is a beach just nearby, perfect for taking a bath on a short notice. The best thing is the large terrace, which is oriented northwards, such that it is windy and cool at any time. I have really no incentive to look for anything else, for our holidays, we just love Villa Chara!

We spend one week in this wonderful house, located at the end of the village in unique position over the sea. We spent our most time on the terace overlooking the sea. We could wonder the holy mountain Athos, the moon and the sunrise every day. The owner was very kind, friendly and kept it simple. We enjoyed it a lot. The island of Amouliani is very authentic and has wondeful beaches. Faka beach is a faboulus one on the west side where you can enjoy fantastic sunsets after a long day on the terace of the villa. We will come again.

We spend there the last 5 days of summer with family and friends. There is sea-view spacious terrace with round table where all eight of us could have our meals. Fishermen were offering in the morning fish straight at our door- and our dinner was easily fixed. Two blocks away is a convenient store. Great place for summer escapes and amazing sea views.

I am afraid Villa Chara will be taken next time we want to travel. Therefore I am not sure I want everybody to know how perfect it is there. We're a Norwegian family, and the Swedish-Greek owner couple of George and Fotini make the stay unforgettable. We are artists, and the owner's background in the arts makes the house communicate so well with us. Imagine picking your own ecological tomatoes and cucumbers ten feet away from the sea at the stunning "hanging gardens" on the seaside of the villa. Or falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of waves gently caressing the cliff the house is built on. The house it self is built with care, with four wonderful balconies and terraces that cater to any wind condition. The stunning proximity to the perfect turquoise water and view of mount Athos is breathtaking. The two small beaches nearby where we enjoy our pre-breakfast swims are so close they feel private (there is even a path down to the cliff to swim right beneath the house, but it is a bit rough at the moment). The four bedrooms, and three bathrooms make the stay easy for a big family. And the terrace is the real gem. And Ammouliani is so peaceful, even the greek themselves go there to get away from the tourists. A perfect stay. A perfect house. Please don't tell anyone ...
